A cat who stayed for the glow.
NEAR is an ecosystem — the public chain and agent world at near.org. Near Cat is not that chain, and not an official part of it. The kitten is a meme that borrowed the color of the light: emerald nodes, an N in the eyes, a city that hums after dark.
In the story, the cat pads across shards like stepping stones, naps where the aurora is brightest, and watches candles the way cats watch string. That is lore. It is not a statement that $NEARCAT has launched on NEAR, or on any other chain.
- 01 · The gate One small cat. A green mark in each eye. The light looked like home, so the cat walked toward it.
- 02 · The watch Charts rise and fall. Near Cat sits through both, tail curled, as if the line were a toy.
- 03 · The open door The meme can settle on NEAR, or somewhere else. Until that is said out loud, the chain stays unannounced.
